Welcome!
Welcome to our website! We created this page to give you a little idea about us as a company and team, and what we stand for. Wit Works is an indy games company based in Edinburgh, Scotland, founded in 2020. Our flagship game, Spin Machine, started playing with friends at a BBQ once lockdowns eased. We wrote cards on scraps of paper and played for fun. Some guests asked whether we would produce a sleeker version and if they could get one, so we knew we were onto something.
Since then, we’ve polished off Spin Machine and are cracking on with our other projects - keep your eyes peeled for more!
Our values
We‘re interested in games which have elements of randomness but which are also largely won based on skill. Winning in these games are a real merit, as the victory has been truly earned, and loses in these games are learning experiences to improve from. There’s a fine balance, and Wit Works produces games which balances carefully between the two.
